Your Memory Is Still Here

This photographic practice is an exploration of loss, memory, and enduring spirit, focusing primarily on objects and structures that have been left behind. The work is drawn to the places and things that time and circumstances have abandoned, seeing in their decay not a final ending, but a testament to life's previous presence and the quiet determination to persist.

The subjects—forgotten homes, community structures, and dilapidated vehicles—act as vessels for unwritten histories, the echoes of individuals who are now largely absent. By focusing the lens, a moment of acknowledgement is offered to these voiceless remnants: "You were here, and you are not forgotten." It is a search for the strength embedded within these objects that have stood against the elements, affirming that though the world is often cold, warmth can still be brought to the memories one chooses to hold.
